i got tired of seeing women nowadays (and sometimes men but mainly the women) focusing intensely on their appearance. my sentiment here was SHED the flesh... a woman who idolizes herself has nothing of substance within (i.e.-no guts in her belly)... and at the same time this painting can work as shedding the flesh down to the bone to cleanse one's self from all materialism, conceptual materialism and so on.

I think she's loverly. The pose is very natural and reminds me of loose gesture drawings, I mean that in a good way, that it's natural. It has a surprisingly refined flare for the concept. I applaud you.
